Manorama – Souvenir

This is a commemoration volume worth being in one’s collection.  It is a compilation of articles on a variety of topics on Muddana and on the Muddana memorial project.

Muddana  – Souvenir

This is a commemoration volume brought out on the occasion of the Decennial of Mitra Mandali.  It is noteworthy and praiseworthy that the events in the first ten years of the organization are put up in a large number of black and white photographs.  The volume speaks volumes on the events and photographs are sometimes more eloquent than words, for which this volume is a good example.  Here is a message from the well- known writer Niranjana:

“You and your friends have liberated your village Nandalike from utter poverty and brought light into the lives of the people.”

This is a spontaneous expression of love, filled with the thrill of realizing the splendid achievements of Nandalike Balachandra Rao and his association of friends.

Nandalikeya Nandadeepa – The Life and Works of Muddana

Muddana was characterized by his special individuality and his works are models of a strong personality and powerful expression.  And these aspects are clearly highlighted in the analyses in the book.  The book was authored by Prof. M. Rajagopalacharya.  His name stands out in the comity of scholars.  He was a man of high honour and dignity.  It was the sincerity of the organizers that persuaded him to write this book.  The care and attention bestowed by the members of Mitra Mandali with regard to the printing is highly commendable.  It is impossible to praise the excellence of the cover page design adequately in words.  It is so eloquently expressive in itself.

Mungoli Kugithu – The Morning Cock has Crowed

This is a small book published by the Mitra Mandali containing the text of a radio play broadcast by poet Shrikrishna Chennangodu, who had won one of the Muddana Awards.  The specialty of the book lies in giving voice to Muddana and his works.
